GIV Mothers and babies

Mothers can play an important role as educators for their children. From a young age, mothers can teach their children important life skills such as how to communicate, how to solve problems, and how to make responsible decisions. They can also help their children develop a love for learning and support their academic pursuits.

Mothers can also be a source of emotional support and guidance for their children. They can help their children develop empathy and emotional intelligence, and teach them how to manage their emotions in healthy ways. Additionally, mothers can impart important values and beliefs to their children, such as the importance of kindness, respect, and honesty.

To support mother's and her child's relationships, there are different kind of things that they can do together, e.g. baby swimming and baby music clubs etc. Pupils also studied attachment theory.
