Two classes are working together to create an exhibition to celebrate European Day at the Lycée Jean Bart : the Erasmus+ class and students studying Latin and Ancient Greek. On the one hand, the students from Erasmus+ class choose a sportswoman. Then they have to research these women in different topics : personal life (childhood, family, education, private life), personal or professional anecdote, professional career, achievements-style of play-personal distinctions, involvement in causes, selection of a press article about her (sources of the article, how she is presented). They also have to collect about twenty photos of their sportswoman in the different spheres covered (private life, professional life, public life). On the other hand, the students studying Latin and Ancient Greek research mythological or real female figures who were famous for their sporting achievements or events in Greek and Roman Antiquity where women were allowed to compete.

Different students collaborate to set up an exhibition for an event in their school

All the students collect their research on A3 sheets who are pasted on a poster. All the posters are displayed in the high school hall from 5 to 12 May 2023. In this way, students and staff at the high school can discover the history of women in sport, from Antiquity to the present day.
