INF – Business women

During a day dedicated to the Erasmus+ project "Juliet", the students of the Erasmus+ class are divided into pairs and have to choose 2 workshops from a list of topics and productions that are proposed to them.

In this workshop, 2 pairs choose to focus on businesswomen. 

Firstly, each pair chooses an influential business woman in the world and prepares a documentary file on her. So, they look for information about her childhood, her academic background, her professional career and the “empire” she has built. 

After that, they write a magazine article in which they portray the woman, illustrating the information they select with photographs representative of her professional career.

The two women chosen by the students are :

•Nabilla Benattia who, after having been a reality TV star and often at the heart of controversy, is a businesswoman at the head of several brands

•Oprah Winfrey who is a television icon and businesswoman who has turned her name into a highly profitable product and who became the first African-American woman to become a billionaire

The two pairs present their magazine article to their classmates. Through the two presentations, students discover the professional career of two businesswomen which are surprising, but perhaps inspiring, although in entrepreneurship sector, women represent only 30% of business founders.
