The structure was buit from 1926 to 1931, the architect was Johan Sigfrid Sirén, and it was officially inaugurated on march 7, 1931.

Most legislation results from Government proposals, which happens approximately 250 times a year. It generally takes 2-4 months to consider a proposal, but major legislative projects can take years.

Every Friday, they have one hour to test the government by answering some question very quickly. The opposition practice it a lot!

Every four years, the Finnish people elect a new Parliament, which decides on national affairs. 

Every citizen can attend the plenary sessions, it’s open even at night. it’s very common to attend at the sessions.
