IT23 CES Visit to the Liceo Zingarelli - Sacro Cuore

Liceo Zingarelli – Sacro Cuore is a place of civil and cultural formation of the student, it promotes personal, cultural and social development, based on the principles of democracy and equality, through dialogue, research and the experience of debate. The students have visited several labs associated to different subjects and art techniques and listened to the teachers and some students explanations. Along the visit they could see the works exhibited on the walls and corridors of the school.

All the visit had a final purpose, to see the exhibition presented at the school exhibition room about the mad poet Alda Merini, a woman whose popularity comes in large part from her self-fashioning as a survivor (of the asylum, of the death of two husbands, of a society that restricts female sexuality) and a feminist who breaks all the rules, even those of feminism (embracing stereotypes about women’s irrationality, or their devotion to absolute love). Students got to know this woman who underlines the characteristics found in women, even those that are contradictory and who celebrates human vulnerability and women’s right to be equal and respected.
