Art exhibition Female representations in Nicolae Grigorescu’s painting  

Students was asked to focus on a corpus of paintings belonging to Nicolae Grigorescu and having the woman as a muse. They analized closely the outfit, the veil, the long skirt, the colours, the objects they carry. Students used these observations as a starting point so as to deduce women’s lifestyle during that era, their main preoccupations, their moral traits and personality features, the relationship with their spouse and children, their status in society.

Students whose specialization is Fine Arts reproduced Grigorescu’s paintings  and organised an art exhibition  presented during the activity « Échange de bonnes pratiques et coopération francophone » at the Alliance française de Suceava
